Vietnam is one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-developing higher-education systems, and its presence in the QS World University Rankings has grown steadily as its universities invest in research, international partnerships and English-language teaching. In the 2027 edition, released on 18 June 2026, nine Vietnamese universities feature in the global table.
